Today is a big day.

It is the first day of not having an office job, a boss that is ridiculous, or a long commute.  To put it another way, it is the first day of freedom.

I have worked every day since graduation towards the "freedom fund."  Now that it's here I am both giddy with excitement and nervous as I think about what may come next.

For the next two weeks, I plan to relax, write, sunbathe with good books, and do my yoga.  That's it.  This may go absolutely horribly as I tend to get bored within two hours... but I'm legitimately going to try to disconnect and take a break.  I hope to "go with the flow" and to just do whatever seems like fun at the moment.

Then it's off to Europe for a solid month of fun.  Rome, Florence, Athens, Santorini, Crete, Barcelona, Rota, Paris.  A trip I've been looking forward to for almost two years.  I look forward to spending time with some of my best friends and to getting out of Virginia for a while.

I will then come back and build this freelancing business.  Today Jayson designed the first round of the Wren Strategies logo.  While it is a small thing, it makes me excited to start building my client base.  I am looking forward to finding new challenges, having flexibility, and traveling whenever the opportunity arises.

Here's to taking the big leap.
